Text Notifications (US/Canada)

Text Notification is a feature that allows you to notify customers via text when their order is ready.

NOTE: This feature is only available to users in the US/Canada who are on the "Advanced" pricing tier. Users on the "Basic" tier will not be able to activate this feature without first upgrading to a higher tier.

How to Setup Text Notifications

  1. Open the Settings Menu within the Fresh KDS app.
  2. Click on Bolt-Ons.
  3. Click the toggle next to Send Txt on Order Complete.

    Note: if you have multiple KDS screens, only enabled this feature on a single device! Otherwise your customers will receive multiple texts.
  4. When ringing in an order, add customer phone number as an order note or order name.
  5. When customer's order is cleared from the KDS screen they will automatically receive a text that says "Your order is ready."
